Pets in the Passenger Cabin
A small cat or dog is allowed to be taken into the cabin by a few Airlines, pls.
check with Airlines when you book air ticket. Usually Airlines require pet travel
bag no higher than 20 cm (7.9 in) and total weight of pet + travel bag or kennel
may be max. 6 kg (13 lbs). Difference Airlines’ regulation are various. Please
contact us or Airlines to get more information before you book your own ticket
and make a reservation as earlier as possible, there are a limited number of pets
in the cabin. Reconfirm at least 48 hours before departure.
Pets sending as check-in baggage
Your cat or dogs may travel as check-in baggage in a ventilated part of the
aircraft: In a kennel that complies with IATA rules, total weight of your pet
and kennel combined may be max. 50-75 kg (110-165 lbs). Always make a
reservation by telephone as earlier as possible and at least 48 hours in advance
as there are a limited number of kennels in the hold as well. The are some
restriction for Snub-Nosed animals such as boxers, pugs, bulldogs, Pekinese and
Persian cats etc. can have trouble breathing during the flight due to high
temperatures and stress. To ensure their well-being, snub-nosed animals may
therefore only be transported as cargo or even are not accepted by some Airlines.
The airlines are concerned that your pet arrives at its destination healthy and
comfortable. For this reason, airlines will not let pets fly if the weather is
too hot or too cold for your pet’s safety. It is possible that your pet may not
be able to travel on the day you have chosen. Pls. contact us for more information.
Pets sending as freight / Cargo Way
For some reasons, such as destination import regulation whose authorities allow
the transportation of pets as freight only, size or weight of pets, breed of pets,
waiting for destination import permit or quarantine space etc., your pet should be
transported as freight. Pet Travel Agent will be required for customs ,quarantine
process and air space booking, please contact us for more information.Only small
dogs and cats can go in the cabin. Some airlines may not even allow them in, and
will transport them as special baggage in a heated and ventilated hold. Do not
worry, cats and dogs actually travel better this way because it is quieter and
they will rest in a darkened environment. Contact the airline you have selected
to confirm that they accept your pet on the day and flight that you prefer. Some
airlines restrict the number of animals on a flight so the more advance notice you
give them the better it is.
